Terms of Service

This is an English translation of the Korean Terms of Service, provided for convenience. If the two versions differ in any way, the Korean version prevails.

Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms set out the rights, obligations and responsibilities between dama (우리냉장고, the “Service”) and its users, together with the conditions and procedures for using the Service.

Article 2 (Definition and content of the Service)

The Service is an application that helps you manage food in a household refrigerator. It provides the following features.

• Automatic item and use-by date suggestions based on order history screenshots (OCR + AI)
• Separate management of several refrigerators, and records of items, use-by dates and storage methods
• Reminders when a use-by date is approaching

Article 3 (Accounts and withdrawal of membership)

• Users sign in with a Google account to use the Service.
• Users may request withdrawal of membership at any time through a feature within the Service. On withdrawal, the related data is permanently destroyed in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
• Users are responsible for managing their own account information.

Article 4 (No warranty for AI estimates, and food safety disclaimer)

• Suggested use-by dates, storage methods and similar information provided by the Service are estimates based on artificial intelligence, for reference only. Their accuracy and completeness are not guaranteed.
• The final judgment and responsibility rest with the user as to whether food is actually safe to eat, and as to its freshness and safety.
• The Service does not provide medical, nutritional or allergy advice, and must not be used as a basis for decisions of that kind.

Article 5 (Prohibited conduct)

• Misappropriating another person's account or personal information
• Interfering with the normal operation of the Service, or gaining unauthorised access to its systems
• Conduct that violates applicable law or these Terms
• Reverse-engineering or copying the Service, or using it commercially without permission

Article 6 (Limitation of liability)

• The Service is not liable for damage arising from the inaccuracy of the estimates described in Article 4.
• Liability is excluded for damage arising from causes beyond the Service's reasonable control, such as natural disasters or failures of external services.

Article 7 (Governing law and jurisdiction)

These Terms are interpreted under the laws of the Republic of Korea. If a dispute arises in connection with use of the Service, it follows the procedures prescribed by applicable law.

Article 8 (Changes to these Terms)

These Terms may be amended as applicable law or the content of the Service changes. We will announce any change through a notice within the Service.
